Children's Ministries
Children are important at Zion Lutheran Church. We feel that it is a partnership between the church and the family to bring your child up in the way of the Lord. Children are able to share their faith in amazing ways. It is a privilege for our staff and volunteers to be with your children.
Infant and Toddler Nursery offers care, through age 4, during both Sunday services. The nursery is not staffed and there for the convenience of parents who a quiet place for their children to play while parents can watch and hear the service on our closed-circuit tv.
Sunday School Ministries for Children are at 10:15 for Children age 3 through grade 5. Sunday School classrooms are bursting with energy, excitement, and true Bible learning. Every week, students hear the Good News of Christ's death and resurrection in every lesson.
Beginners - Age 3 – Kindergarten
Primary – Grades 1 & 2
Elementary – Grades 3 - 5
Special events are held throughout the year for children.
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is offered during the summer and attracts a large number of children who have fun while learning about Jesus. It ends with a family worship.
Special Easter and Christmas events are held each year to help reinforce the message of these special Christian times.

4th&5th Grade Youth
This ministry involves upper elementary (grades 4 & 5) quarterly in a activities to strengthen their bond to Jesus, have fun and fellowship together, and encourage service opportunities.
