Children are important at Zion Lutheran Church. We feel that it is a partnership between the church and the family to bring your child up in the way of the Lord. Children are able to share their faith in amazing ways. It is a privilege for our staff and volunteers to be with your children.

Infant and Toddler Nursery offers care, through age 4, during both Sunday celebration services. We have trained staff as well as volunteers to assure your child the best of care. Our nursery is also open during the week for some classes and group meetings.

Sunday School Ministries for Children are at 10:15 for Children age 3 through grade 5. Sunday School classrooms are bursting with energy, excitement, and true Bible learning. Every week, students hear the Good News of Christ's death and resurrection in every lesson.
Beginners - Age 3 – Kindergarten
Primary – Grades 1 & 2
Elementary – Grades 3 - 5

Special events are held throughout the year for children. (Halloween Extravaganza – the Sunday on or before Oct. 31; Mother's Day Tea;)

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is offered during the summer and attracts a large number of children who have fun while learning about Jesus. It ends with a family worship and picnic time. June 22-26

Special Easter and Christmas events are held each year to help reinforce the message of these special Christian times.

This Gang is for CHRIST!

This ministry involves upper elementary (grades 4 & 5) once a month (usually 3rd Friday) in a activities to strengthen their bond to Jesus, have fun and fellowship together, and encourage service opportunities.

Next gathering: Friday, January 16th; 6-8pm.
